Alright so hear me out but Anarchism.
The reason why I argue this is that if we want to oppose liberalism we need to first understand what it entails. Liberalism is a broad term that somehow includes anyone to the left in the US and everyone to the economic right elsewhere in the world. While liberalism was born as a political challenge to conservatism in the 17th-18th centuries, it never sought to actually replace the system as it were, but rather give new competitors entry into the top echelons. So we can surmise that Liberalism is slightly more egalitarian in a sense than conservatism is with its whole birthright type of stuff (that realistically still remains a core component to modern day conservatives). So that is in a nutshell where the two differ, however to find opposition to one, the other or both we need to take what similarities they have. It is evident that Conservatism and Liberalism can coexist relatively peacefully in a democratic system, which points that both have more similarities than one would think. Both support hierarchy in some form whether genetic, inherited, earned or so on, and in maintenance of this hierarchical structure rely on the State. Thus, the critique of both lies in areas that reject both hierarchy and the state (and by extension centralization). This is where we have the appearance of Anarchism as a developed form of political thought and political critique.
Anarchist societies are not some lawless mad max style world, but rather rely on consensus decision making, mutual aid and gift economies, democratic procedures, sharing of resources, elimination of money and so on. I strongly suggest that this is an avenue to look into for the opposition of liberalism (and conservatism).
Some of the other options suggested such as "socialism"* and "radical centrism" are still reliant on the State, and the hierarchy of power that flows from it. *Yes I am aware that socialism is also the community controlling the means of production, and a transitional state to communism (recalling the perpetual promise of the state withering away in the USSR).
So yeah if you want to oppose systems that are reliant on a State and Hierarchy then you must look to areas outside of this, or else you will never really solve any issues. As even that slightly more egalitarian liberalism becomes a conservatism in its own right maintaining that the state and economic system are sacrosanct.
As humans we owe it to ourselves to get creative, experimental, messy and so on, like we used to do for thousands of years before the first kingdoms arose, and even then we still had large holdouts across the world. The most notable of these being the North American continent, where Indigenous societies (many but not all) consciously organized themselves in opposition to the consolidation of power and the implementation of hierarchy. It's why their societies were always more attractive to the early European colonizers, while Indigenous people rarely out of their free will joined European settlements.

My main issue with Anarchism is that I don't think it would ever be a workable solution, in the US at least, until technology advances to the point where scarcity is, essentially, eliminated or we choose, en mass, to return to living in relatively small groups of people where the number of social connections mirror pretty closely the 150 rule. Ironically, the technology to achieve this would, imo, require an advanced capitalist society.
I love the idea of a community deciding on its own moral codes, beliefs, and practices without the fear of reprisal but I just don't see it happening based on my understanding of human nature as it related to culture.
If you haven't seen it though, the Chobani commercial is, product placement aside, a work of art.

However, having said that, his support of anticolonial struggles would indicate it would not be in his interests to aid in any way in the Assassination of Sankara. Perhaps they did have some abrasive interactions via foreign policy, I will admit Gaddafi was strange both as a person and with his foreign policy choices. However, it would have been against his own interests to aid in Sankaras assassination.
Sankara was also a staunch anti colonialist and pan Africanist. Whatever their personal or individual differences or disputes, it would make absolutely no sense for Gaddafi to purposefully eliminate one of his own political allies because it would set his own goals back.

For all the libertarian leftists, which is the lesser evil, liberals or tankies? And who are you generally willing to form coalitions with?
I’ve spent enough time in r/tankiejerk to know that the general consensus is that liberals often come to the same surface conclusions that they do but are fundamentally different, but the easiest way to start a fight on that sub is to ask everyone whether liberals should be allowed. But I want to know what you guys personally think.

I find that even when they’re a minority in an online space, they often find a way to dominate what is and isn’t acceptable discourse, just as it’s happened every single time they’ve ever run a government. Like, the other day someone got banned from r/againsthatesubreddits for participating in r/tankiejerk, which is run by *other leftists*. Apparently “dictators are bad” is as controversial a statement as half the shit Trump tweeted?
It’s infuriating because I don’t think I’d feel as much of a commitment to social justice as I do now if not for the stories of life under communist governments that my family has told me. But apparently I can’t want a better society without defending even shittier ones just because they’re opposed to mine?

China doesn't embrace orthodox communism the same way that North Korea does, with a command economy and cooperative state ownership of all industries. China is more like a market capitalist country with heavy state owned influence and one party communist rule.
Most communist countries outside of Cuba and North Korea switched from a socialist command economy to one that permits private capitalist influence as long as the communist party remains in power as the only legal party.
China's switch from socialist command economy system to a one that permits free market capitalism is the reason why it's so powerful today.

An economic system with private ownership of the means of production isn't communism, at least according to Marxist theory.
China isn't even a market socialist economy similar to Yugoslavia. The owners of successful Chinese firms like Huawei and Alibaba are extremely successful businessmen comparable to American and British billionaires like Jeff Bezos or Richard Branson.
China still sucks compared to the Liberal capitalist democracies of the world like Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK when it comes to human rights and democratic freedoms.

That's not a report, that's called an "op-ed" otherwise known as an opinion piece (see the big "Opinion" label?), and it does not anywhere prove your suggestion that there has been a ban on political organising. Rather, several parties accused of having ties with Russia have been suspended for the duration of the war. This included a nazbol party. Political organizing is still completely legal, socialist parties and organizations still exist and are active.
The conversation here concerns self government. The level of organization permitted under the laws does not permit articulation of socialist values through self government. Rather we see a neoliberal agenda and a US proxy government blocked from negotiating anything that allows for a compromise with the present Russian rulers.
