Lik marriage to be fine--but make it less obligatory, more than it's already becoming. I think without a state there would be less reason to except a lot of the problems within marriage and couple that with some socio-cultural tweaks too I think marriage could be a thing a lot less institutionally hierarchical, more voluntary, and hopefully with a renewed perspective of what it's about in the first place. I myself may yet get married someday.
I say "institutionally hierarchical" only because nothing in the shape of society can completely guarantee things like a domineering spouse couldn't happen, but I think there are steps to minimize that, and to go against it if it does emerge. It can and does happen outside of marriage too.
Agree with what was said about nuclear families. They don't have to be the norm. Personally, I think it's a good model for where raising kids is concerned, although it would benefit immensely from adding a lot of communal care as well. For me, it was a lot like that; as a kid I thought two neighborhood families were like my second families. And they treated me as such. I remember when I found out my parents were getting divorced, I split from home and went to cry on my "second momma's" shoulder about it.

I think the picture is open to interpretation. If you wanted to be offended, you could say that he meant that jews have as much importance as pigs. But I think you can also take it as "a life is a life, regardless of whether it is human or not". It's a viewpoint that would be easily held by a Jainist, and they are certainly not anti-Semitic. Although I do prioritize human life under all circumstances, I also think it's fucked up for people to immediately disregard any wrongdoing towards animals just because they're edible.

The Islamic empires contributed greatly to the persecution of Jews, instituting many of their own pogroms and forced conversions, regardless of "wHo sTaRtEd iT FiRsT." There's absolutely no need to overlook the carnage and mayhem done towards the Jews by the Islamic forces, when it greatly contributed to the spread of global anti-semitism just as much as Europe's contribution. To do so is a whitewashed revision of legitimate Semitic history.
